Adding Users to a GitHub Team

This tutorial will guide you through the process of adding users to a GitHub team. This is useful for managing access to validation pipelines and classified results in Workflow Web.

Steps to Add Users to a GitHub Team

  1. Navigate to your GitHub organization page. For example, the CHIMEFRB organization page is located at GitHub.com/CHIMEFRB.

  2. Click on the Teams tab Teams Tab on the organization page.

  3. Click on the team that you want to add users to. If the team does not exist, you can create a new team by clicking on the New team button New team button.

  4. On the team page, click on the Add a member button Add a member button.

  5. Enter the GitHub username of the user you want to add to the team and click on the Add member button.

  6. The user will receive an email notification informing them that they have been added to the team.

The user will now have access to the pipelines and results associated with the team.
