Introduction

Commitizen, cz, is a tool used by various CHIME groups to create standardised commit messages following the Conventional Commits standard when commiting changes to a Git repository. In addition to this, it is also used with other GitHub Actions tools, such as Google API's Release-Please to create automatic CHANGELOG.md generation and automatic Git repository releases with tagged versions, all based on the standardized commits it produces.
